Galaxy Note 7: Smart enough and full of features

Looking at those features, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is truly a promising device. Paying full price, a user is US can buy the Galaxy Note 7 for $840 (approx RS 56,000) on Sprint's website, $864 on Verizon and $880 (approx Rs 59,000) on AT&T.;

The new Note 7 marks a return for Samsung to its big-screen heritage among so-called power-users. The phone also features a company-first, Iris scanner to unlock the device.

South Korean conglomerate Samsung Electronics (SSNLF.OB, SSNNF.OB, SMSN.L) unveiled the New Galaxy Note7, which will be available starting on August 19, and will be offered in Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx. Fujitsu, Alcatel and Chinese manufacturer ZTE already make phones with similar technology.

So how does it work?

Samsung Pass, a new software solution for log-in identification, will also strengthen the security of the new phone. It's a quick 90-second video, and it doesn't show you a ton about the phone, but it does show everything you need to know. You get Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Samsung Galaxy Note7 comes in multiple colours.

Galaxy Note 7: Smart enough and full of features

According to Samsung, in the first half of this year, the brand was the top seller in Taiwan's Android smartphone market in terms of both sales value and sales volume.

As with past Note phones, the Note 7 comes with a stylus.

As well as allowing users to secure their own documents and browse securely while using the phone's internet browser, Samsung is working with mobile banking providers to allow them to incorporate iris scanning into their apps. Samsung wanted the stylus to provide a more-natural writing experience, so they designed it to feel like a 0.7mm ballpoint pen. All the four colors give the gadget a rich and creamy look while making it more tempting and lavishing.

The Note 7's 5.7-inch screen sits inside a body that's slightly smaller but thicker and heavier than the Galaxy S6 Edge+.

The 5.7-inch screen will have a 2560x1440 pixel display, and its SD card slot will handle cards up to 256MB in size. Supported smartphones include the Galaxy Note7, S7, S7 edge, Note5, S6, S6 edge, and S6 edge+. Unfortunately, the rumors claiming the phablet will pack 6GB of RAM have turned out to be inaccurate as the Galaxy Note 7 features the same 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM as its predecessor and the Galaxy S7 duo. Last year, it made it easier for people to launch live-streams from their Note 5 via a feature directly through the camera and this year, the focus is on GIFs. With "Samsung Pass", users can authenticate themselves using iris scanner for m-commerce services.
